I am honoured to be working on the foundations of La Casa de Hömi, a boutique hotel set to open in mid-2025 in Guadalajara, Mexico. This project is more than just a professional endeavour—it is a heartfelt collaboration with a family of passionate travel connoisseurs, dedicated to bringing their long-envisioned hospitality dream to life.
Guadalajara, the cultural heart of Mexico, is a city where history, vibrant arts, and extraordinary cuisine converge, offering a blend of timeless tradition and contemporary charm.
My role has been focused on shaping the brand proposition, establishing standard operating procedures, categorising accommodation offerings, and crafting a pricing strategy aligned with the competitive landscape and destination.
Additionally, I have been implementing the property management system (PMS) to streamline operations. Being on-site to initiate this project has allowed me to deeply connect with its vision and set a strong foundation for success.
A tailored commercial strategy was developed for Morgan’s Originals – St Martins Lane (204 rooms), Sanderson (150 rooms), and Mondrian Shoreditch (120 rooms), London, focusing on the leisure segment and strengthening connections with the international travel trade.
Operating as a sales team cluster, this approach enhanced market presence, revenue growth, and brand positioning. Alongside commercial success, mentoring and training the sales team ensured high performance and quality standards.
A key focus was integrating these hotels into Ennismore Lifestyle Collective and Accor, aligning them with global strategies while preserving their unique identity. During this time, Mondrian Shoreditch successfully evolved before transitioning to Virgin Hotels.
